Loomis IMX-PRO V2S 1290-4 12-weight, 9' fly rod delivers authoritative power and responsive tracking for the most demanding saltwater environments. Built for chasing triple-digit tarpon on open flats, giant trevally along coral reefs, and offshore pelagic species, this heavy-duty fly rod excels at picking up and redirecting long lengths of fly line with minimal false casts. Its fast action taper generates aerodynamic, wind-cutting loops while providing the deep butt-section backbone required to put maximum pressure on hard-charging fish during prolonged battles.

Handcrafted in Woodland, Washington, this rod incorporates Conduit Core Technology alongside the proprietary GL7 resin system to increase overall strength and impact resistance without adding unnecessary swing weight. By reducing physical mass in the lower half of the blank, G. Loomis allows anglers to exert less energy through repeated double hauls, reducing fatigue when casting heavy lines all day. Saltwater-ready hardware includes tangle-free Fuji K-frame stripper guides, corrosion-resistant chrome snake guides, and a custom anodized aluminum reel seat with a generous fighting butt and full-wells cork grip for complete control when applying heavy side pressure.

This preowned G. Loomis IMX-PRO V2S 1290-4 arrives in Like New condition, showing virtually no signs of prior use while delivering original factory performance and flawless structural integrity.
