The Galvan Torque 6 fly reel combines whisper-smooth startup inertia with a lightweight large-arbor architecture that balances modern 6-weight fly rods perfectly. Built for versatile freshwater and light saltwater pursuits, this setup excels when stripping heavy streamers across broad freestones, casting poppers to smallmouth bass, or pursuing summer steelhead. Its wide-diameter spool accelerates line retrieval during fast runs, while the signature cutout porting sheds unnecessary weight to eliminate casting fatigue throughout long days on the water.

Precision-machined in Sonora, California, by the Galvan family, the Torque 6 is crafted from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and protected with a durable Type II anodized finish. At its core is the proprietary Galvan Torque Drag System, which utilizes a carbon fiber and high-tech thermoplastic disc assembly that requires no lubrication and delivers consistent resistance across all weather conditions. The microTune drag knob provides precise, micro-click adjustments so you can dial in the exact pressure needed for the situation, while the TruBalance counterweighted spool ensures wobble-free rotation at high speeds. A simple push-button spool release allows tool-free maintenance, keeping you focused on the fishing rather than mechanical upkeep.

This preowned Galvan Torque 6 fly reel arrives in Like New condition, showing pristine cosmetic surfaces with no discernible wear and delivering original factory performance.
