With a partially ported frame, the VAYA offers a perfect balance of lightness, rigidity, and surface area, showcasing Abel's expertly hand-anodized finishes. The reel also contains CNC-milled fly patterns on the interior. On this reel you'll find two streamers engraved on the inside. The large-arbor spool boasts a dual-pawl drag engagement system, eliminating the need for a counterweight. The incoming click and smooth outgoing drag provide audible and precise adjustments. The carbon and stainless multi-disk drag offers both strong resistance and delicate tippet adjustability.

This reel is finished in the stunning Flats Fade pattern. The drag knob is also Flats Fade, and the handle is wood in Rosewood. Abel reels are handcrafted in Colorado.
