- We reserve the right to revise any quotation or cancel any transaction for any reason prior to issuing payment.
- If a revision is necessary, you will be notified via email. You may request the return of your items (see Section 4: Shipping for restrictions) up until payment is issued.
- You must respond to any adjustment email within 14 days, either by accepting the revised quote on our website or by replying via email to decline and confirm your return address.
- Acceptance of a revised quote is final; you may not dispute or challenge the quote thereafter.
- If you do not respond to a revised quote within 14 days, we reserve the right to dispose of your items at our discretion.
2. Payment and Ownership
- You are responsible for providing accurate payment details using the link provided via email.
- If you fail to provide correct payment details within 3 months of inspection, we reserve the right to take ownership of your items without further notification or payment.
- Once we have received and inspected your items and processed your payment, all right, title, and interest in the items irrevocably passes to Recast Fly Fishing. This transfer is effective regardless of payment processing issues or account detail accuracy.
3. Item Inspection and Included Accessories
- All accessories included with your items (e.g., rod socks, tubes, reel cases, fly line, sink tips, backing) will be considered part of your quote.
- Upon receipt, we will conduct a detailed inspection and reserve the right to:
- Remove and dispose of all fly line and backing from reels.
- Clean and remove stickers from any part of the items.
- Remove, dispose of, or recycle all packaging materials.
- Removed accessories and packaging will not be returned under any circumstances, including if you decline a revised quote and your items are returned.
4. Shipping to Recast Fly Fishing
- We will provide an insured, trackable prepaid shipping label for a shipping provider of our choice. You must include a printed copy of the unique tracking number in your package.
- In the event of loss or damage during shipment, you must provide authorized proof of collection or drop-off (printed receipt or electronic tracking confirmation). Handwritten confirmation is not accepted.
- You must also provide evidence of ownership (original purchase receipt and photographs of items before shipping).
- The maximum claim amount for loss or damage is the final accepted quote. Additional products not described in the quote are sent at your own risk.
- You are responsible for packaging items securely for transit. Failure to do so may affect insurance claims. We are not liable for damage due to insufficient packaging or loss/theft resulting from improper labeling or use of a non-provided shipping label.
5. Item Mismatch and Return Costs
- If the items sent do not match the type, make, or model in your initial offer, you are responsible for refunding us the full cost of shipping both ways.
- If you do not remit payment for return shipping within 30 days of notification, we reserve the right to take ownership of your items without further notification or payment.
6. Packaging Restrictions
- The prepaid shipping label may only be used for boxes (not shipping tubes) within the following maximum dimensions:

- Spey rods: 44 x 4 x 4 inches (do not use shipping tube)
- Reels: 6.5 x 6.5 x 5 inches
- Do not send items in oversize boxes or shipping tubes without prior written approval. Extra handling fees for oversize packaging will be deducted from your payout.
- If you send items in oversize packaging without approval and reject a revised offer, you must reimburse us for extra handling charges before your items are returned. Failure to remit payment within 30 days will result in us taking ownership of your items without further notification or payment.
