The Sage X was Sage's premium flagship rod just prior to the current generation. The Xs are still very much in demand today due to their well-earned reputation for fast action, accuracy and light swing weight. Handmade on Bainbridge Island, Washington, this 5 weight, 9' rod is perfect for trout and is adept at throwing everything from tiny dries to chunky nymph rigs.
