Sage R8 590-4
This 9' five weight R8 Core is Sage's most popular rod model. The marketing claim is that Sage built this top-of-the-line, fast-action rod with a whole new level of feel. We can say from personal experience (and from 200+ five-star reviews on the Sage site) that it's more than just marketing. The R8 Core is an absolute joy to cast. It throws tight, accurate loops, handles dries and nymphs adeptly, and just leaves you looking forward to the next cast.
This specific 590-4 is in near perfect condition and has a rating of Great. The only aspects holding it back from being rated as "Like New" are a slight paint rub on the end cap and a few scratches under the lip of the reel seat. Other than those, the rod is flawless. The rod comes with the original Sage tube and sock, and even has the Sage warranty card and logo sticker.
