Hand-built in the USA, the Contact II blank is engineered with five different types of carbon and fiberglass fibers, bonded by T&T’s proprietary aerospace resin system. This construction results in an incredibly light, ultra-sensitive tip section that flawlessly transmits every vibration from the fly to the hand. The rod features Black RECoil single-foot snake guides and a redesigned “Low Rider” stripping guide placed closer to the butt to minimize line drag and improve strike transmission. The Flor grade cork grip and down-locking reel seat (standard on 2wt-4wt models) further optimize the swing weight and balance required for all-day Euro-nymphing.
